Fitness has always been a big part of my life. I was a 3 sport letterman in highschool. After a knee injury, I gave up the hardcourts and the fields for the golf course and the streets. I completed the Long Beach Marathon, several Mud Runs and half marathons. I won the PLGA amateur championship golf tournament a few years back along with 2 team play events. I even had the pleasure of a hole in one at Rancho Park golf course on hole 12!(a 6 iron from 206 if you have to know! its down hill!)
My freshman basketball coach taught me that when you are physically fit, you will perform better in all things, on and off the court.
A few years ago I began to research various golf fitness programs (Mark Verstegen, Greg Rose)and incorporated them into my routine. That research, my own experimentation, along with the principles NASM taught me, led to my current golf fitness program.
A few years back I traded my running shoes in for cycling shoes. Most Saturday mornings I am off at daybreak for a long ride down the coast, and my Wednesday nights are spent teaching the Spin class at The Fit Stop.
I have been married for 10 years and have 2 amazing boys, and love helping people get in shape and change their lives! It's awesome work!
